At Excellenceform, we value material selection as much as design itself.
Because the quality of a home depends not only on what is visible
but also on the structure and standards of the materials within.
That is why we choose MDF HMR E1 V313
as our standard material for residential built-in furniture.
MDF HMR E1 V313 is tested under the European EN 321 cyclic test standard.
This process includes repeated cycles of:
Water immersion → Freezing → Drying
to simulate fluctuating temperature and humidity conditions.
As a result, the board demonstrates lower thickness swelling compared to standard MDF,
helping reduce the risk of warping, swelling, or deformation.
It is suitable for interior areas exposed to humidity variations, such as kitchens and areas near bathrooms.
We select materials that comply with the E1 formaldehyde emission standard.
Emission levels are limited to:
≤ 0.124 mg/m³ (EN 717-1)
or ≤ 8 mg/100 g (EN 120)
This safety level aligns with materials commonly used in European schools, hospitals, and childcare facilities.
This ensures our furniture is low-odor and safe for everyone in the home.
HMR (High Moisture Resistance) MDF features higher density
and is manufactured under high-pressure conditions.
This provides improved bending strength (MOR) and internal bond strength (IB),
helping reduce deflection and enhancing long-term durability.
Choosing high-quality materials from the beginning
not only extends the lifespan of furniture
but also reduces long-term maintenance costs.
Most importantly, it allows the beauty of design
to remain as refined as the day it was installed.
For us, materials are not merely components.
They are the foundation of quality and trust.
